I loved diving since I was a kid, running and jumping into the pool without knowing what I was doing. In 1986 I started training with a local club. After about 10 years with the Colombian national team and because my sport didn't have much support I decided to leave Colombia and move to Austria to perform at a diving show. While there I saw on TV the Cliff Diving competitions and started training to get an invitation. Finally in 1999 i was invited to my 1st World Championship where I placed second. Long time planning is interesting, I have to make sure that my training in the off season is done to reach competition time in the best shape possible.
